1. Truly Wireless and Free Scanning Experience

Wireless Scanning

The standout feature of the CereScan SE is its ability to perform “complete wireless” measurements via a detachable wireless module. Supporting the high-speed Wi-Fi 6 standard, it allows users to move freely around objects without any physical cable constraints, ensuring a seamless scanning workflow. This dramatically reduces the typical hassles associated with cables in conventional measuring processes. Furthermore, the device offers the flexibility to detach the wireless module and switch to wired (USB 3.0) scanning mode instantly whenever required.
Boasting a mini-structure at 215×95×45mm and weighing only 540g (excluding the wireless base station), it achieves remarkable portability. This compact design shortens the distance between cameras, making it significantly easier to access recessed or confined areas that were previously unreachable. Additionally, with its ergonomic grip design and integrated anti-slip scanner cover, it minimizes operator fatigue during long measurement tasks, ensuring stable and comfortable operation at all times.

2. Exceptional Speed and High Resolution

The CereScan SE is equipped with a total of 52 blue laser lines that can be toggled to suit different applications, balancing unprecedented speed with detailed data acquisition. In standard scanning mode, it uses 34 blue laser lines to capture a wide area of up to 680×530mm, drastically improving work efficiency. For capturing minute details, it features 17 parallel laser lines, along with an extra single laser line specifically for deep, hard-to-reach pockets. With a data transmission speed of up to 110 FPS, it achieves a staggering measurement rate of 4,000,000 measurements/s. Despite this speed, it maintains a maximum resolution of up to 0.02mm, allowing for the rapid acquisition of high-density and high-precision 3D data.

3. ‘Galaxy Mode’ for Large-Scale Measurement

In Galaxy Mode, by using dedicated scale bars, you can completely eliminate the time-consuming process of placing coded targets (markers) usually required for large parts. The volumetric accuracy in Galaxy Mode reaches an impressive 0.015+0.02mm/m, ensuring superior volumetric control for large workpieces without sacrificing precision. It is a versatile scanner that combines speed, precision, and large-scale capability.

4. Solving the Challenges of Deep Holes! Deep-Hole Scanning Function

In traditional 3D scanning, accurately capturing data from deep holes, narrow grooves, or pocket interiors has been a major challenge. The CereScan SE addresses this directly with a design and specialized features that minimize blind spots. The Deep-hole Scanning function utilizes an additional single blue laser line specifically specialized for scanning hard-to-access areas. Combined with the ultra-compact design that shortens the camera distance, it can easily and reliably capture shapes at the bottom of narrow grooves or deep pockets where laser lines from conventional machines struggle to reach. Furthermore, the CereScan SE supports the unique Hole Flash Capture function, a feature previously reserved for only a few top-tier 3D scanners. This function is dedicated to instantly and accurately acquiring the coordinates, center positions, and dimensions of “holes” and “slots.” Whether it’s evaluating the position of core-pin holes in die-casting or inspecting tolerances of drilled holes after machining, this is an efficient and indispensable tool for manufacturing floors and Quality Assurance (QA) departments requiring strict quality control.
