[2026 Latest Release] Introducing ADSTEFAN Ver.27 Casting Simulation System

In this update, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) has been significantly redesigned to resolve ambiguity in daily analysis tasks and reduce rework during setup. Furthermore, the release introduces a new display mode that dramatically enhances the visual representation of analysis results, along with powerful new integration features to support casting design and defect prediction.
Key New Features in ADSTEFAN Ver.27
Among the many enhancements in this update, here are four standout features:
1. Comprehensive GUI Overhaul for Intuitive Operation
The GUI for setting analysis conditions has been completely restructured to align with the actual analysis workflow. Setting items such as molten metal inflow conditions and heat resistance values are now organized by process, enabling intuitive setup without confusion.
Additionally, new features like color-coded project tabs for multiple simultaneous projects and “Bulk Sync Settings” for result windows in the post-processor make comparing fluid flow and solidification analyses significantly smoother.
2. Enhanced Visualization of Analysis Results

A new SD mode (image on the right) has been added to the post-processor display modes which allows for more realistic fluid visualization of the molten metal free surfaces and casting/mold interfaces. Predicted defects such as cold shuts, flow lines, and shrinkage porosity can be presented with more persuasive and high-quality visuals, providing powerful support for customer presentations and internal reporting.
3. Automated Optimal Design: Improved Optimization Analysis Linkage

Finding optimal casting conditions often involves a massive amount of time spent on “trial and error,” manually changing settings and repeating simulations. By linking with optimization software, the system automatically search for the conditions the yield the best results.
In Ver.27, this linkage has been further enhanced with support for a wider variety of 3D CAD software, allowing for seamless collaboration across different design environments. Furthermore, defect prediction results from the ADPT tool can now be directly set as objective functions, enabling the system to intelligently derive the optimal casting design similarly to an experienced designer.
4. Merging Craftsmanship with AI: Enhanced Defect Prediction Tool (ADPT)
ADPT is a revolutionary tool that uses machine learning (AI) to learn from past analysis results and actual defect data, enabling high accuracy defect prediction even for new design models.
Previously, the AI automatically selected the factors serving as a criteria for prediction. In Ver.27, a new manual selection of parameters function has been added, allowing the experience and know-how of skilled engineers to be reflected. Directly incorporating valuable field-specific insights into AI models helps build a more accurate defect prediction database, resulting in more reliable defect predictions that better reflect practical intuition on the shop floor.
Furthermore, the addition of contribution analysis and graph display functions allow users to visually verify the impact of each factor on defects. This dramatically accelerates the speed from root cause analysis to the implementation of countermeasures and allows for intuitive analysis.

[Important] Complete Transition to Driverless Authentication
ADSTEFAN Ver.27 has completely transitioned to “Driverless Authentication,” which eliminates the need to install dedicated drivers for license authentication.
To use Ver.27, your existing USB license key must be replaced to be driverless-compatible.
Driverless authentication offers high adaptability to the latest operating systems, such as Windows 11 Pro, and avoids compatibility issues during OS updates, ensuring more stable operation of ADSTEFAN.
Transition Steps to Driverless Authentication
